The Pawling Guest House,located at 105 West Main Street in Pawling, is everything a Bed and Breakfast should be and more: a warm welcome, beautiful rooms and a delicious breakfast. There are four rooms, each with their distinct flavor, and private bath, one with a jacuzzi. There is a commons room complete with fireplace, tv/dvd, refrigerator with goodies and always a pot of hot water for assorted teas and a few snacks.Sometimes Barbara, the innkeeper, will make her special cider flavored with oranges. You will enjoy your beautifully decorated room, a really restful sleep, a gourmet breakfast and perhaps an interesting conversation with another guest.

This review is written by someone who comes up regularly to visit a family member residing at the Duchess Home for Rehabilitation. The Pawling Guest House has been my respite and refuge every week throughout a difficult experience and I look forward to the day I can come back just for fun. Thank you Barbara.
